You will save tons of money as having most of these add-ons customized would cost thousands of dollars, not to mention how user friendly the cart is. X-cart has tons of add-ons already written for it so you get the best of both worlds (integrating RMS with your website and taking advantage of all of the add-ons for X-Cart). Every time we wanted to add a simple feature like quantity discounts it required custom work which cost us thousands, the same feature in X-cart costs less than $200, as the add-on is already written! So in November of 2008 we switched to Kosmos, they had WI customized for X-Cart. We had an ASP site previously that we had Web Integrator customized for, the problem was there were no add-ons for the cart. Overall if you are currently using Microsoft RMS or considering it, this is hands down the best solution on the market.
